When did Fury start caring about his zero?

    I feel he is being a ***** about running from the Usyk vs Aj winner.
    We will see if he actually means it and goes trough with it.
    But when did he start admiring this floyd bs so much about being undefeated and wanting to retire asap?

    Before it was 5 more fights, fighting man, if I get beat so be it, dont care about money, legacy etc.
    I like the guy but am dissapointed in him if he ducks Usyk or even AJ just to be sure to finish undefeated.

    Thats a ***** move to pull some mental gymnastics where you can be a mythical h2h fighter with a 0 and no bruised ego in your own head rather than be honest, take the risk to be truly great.

    Plus the guy already lost vs mcdermott if were being honest and was lucky the ref didnt stop wilder 1 and wallin fights.

    Stop being a floyd wannabee, he is better than that. find your balls and fight the Usyk vs AJ winner.

    Having the zero makes him marketable and gives him crossover appeal to the UFC and WWE crowd.

    Joshua had his sponsors and advertising deals while Fury appeals to the hillbillies and hick crowd.

    So the folk who fill stadiums for AJ are cosmopolitan erudites, while the only people who could possibly appreciate Fury are snaggletoothed rubes and bumpkins?

    In reality, a certain percentage of those who turned out for Fury at Wembley will be people who previously turned out for Joshua and since switched sides because Joshua's stock fell while Fury's rose.


    David Price remains the only one of the two to decline a career-high payday and British/Commonwealth title shot against a fellow Englishman in front of a terrestrial TV audience of millions.

    Yeah it was a long time ago but he lost against Mcdermott. He also should have been disqualified for his clear as day illegal knockout of Cunningham

    Fury has lost his supposed love of the sport/the grind of training camp.
    Fury wanted to fight for the undisputed but on his terms eg in his next fight, wanting AJ to step aside etc.

    Retiring as champion and unbeaten sells to all, undisputed sells primarily to boxing aficionados only.

    Fury last time i heard had not returned the title to the WBC, he is still talking as champ, rather than walking as retired champ.

    Price had his chance to box Fury, declined it and moved on to claim his destiny as a meme.

    Fury moved on to claim his destiny as world's champeen and the great heavyweight of his era.
