    Oscar is too tired and hurt to even do anything with the openings or lapses that showed up that round. It was his best since the third, maybe, yet at the same time i saw him react poorly from a couple of Shakurs mediocre shots.

    What's there to be impressed with? Slick boxer comfortable on the back foot slapping around an aggressive-but-sloppy counter-puncher that he has the height and reach on.

    he should be embarrassed if he doesn't get the stoppage.

    Valdez is there to be knocked out. Shakur needs to step on the gas and make a statement. If he's as good as advertised.

    7-3 Shakur, Valdez should have fought like that the whole fight. Instead he turtled up most of the rounds.
