You got your prediction wrong lol, You said Valdez will destroy him. No one is going to beat Stevenson he beats all the guys in 135 when he moves up.

 

Very dominating performance by Shakur.

Surprised how big Shakur looked in there. Was never really sold on him cause of what seems like a lack of power, but he handled Valdez like a champ.

 

11-1 Stevenson. Solidified his position as 130lbs kingpin and a P4P champion.

However, Eddie really did pull a big one on Bob Arum tonight.

 

Valdez is elite at 130 and people were already talking about the winner would crack the p4p top 10.

 

He tried everything - he had no answer. Even his inside game was weak against Stevenson.

Valdez seems like a good dude. I think he has overachieved in boxing for his level of ability, so I think he should seriously consider retiring. He’s not at that elite level.

 

He did hurt him. And he also landed nearly everything that he threw and wasn't faced with much return fire but still chose to cautiously bore the fans to death.

 

He had some success inside. Or else it would have been Shakur coming forward all night.

Shakur should be in the P4P discussion. He fought a Champion that was Herring then Valdez. Who knows who he might fight next?

Also, I disagree that Valdez is a bum, it is not that Valdez is bad it is just that Shakur it's that good whether you dislike the guy. Would be interesting how a harder hitter like Isaac Cruz would do if Stevenson moves up.
