Serrano won the fight but it's her fault she lost it officially.

She could have won if she just continued with her work in 8,9,10 but she did nothing at all.

Everyone knew Taylor would get the nod if its relatively close because she got so many robberies in the past.

Serrano has fight iq -1000.

She deserves the L for being as stupid as it gets.

I think we get a rematch though.

3. No, it couldn't have gone either way. Taylor got beaten up pretty badly and arguably lost one round 8-10. She got her ass kicked until Serrano stopped fighting in the last three rounds.

Serrano took her foot off the gas, was that intentional which I doubt, or was it that she could not maintain that output at the higher weight?

Whatever viewpoint you hold, we just watched 2 females rock MSG.

That was a war. Katie surprised me by being so willing to stand in the pocket and trade and Amanda is a ****ing killer. She had Katie rocked bad a few times.

Totally impressed. Awesome fight.

Straight up warriors both of them. A rematch would be huge

This has only elevated the stock of female boxing and deserves a three minute round rematch, if for no other reason than to prove that female fighters are on par and can do it.

It's outrageous that female boxing is still 2 minute rounds. This is a great advert for the quality that female boxing has to offer and will spark the discussion for a 12x3 format. Taylor and Serrano could easily go 12x3 and give the world a great fight.

 

Everybody is laughing all the way to the bank after that one. Nothing sells tickets like a rematch to a great, close fight between the two biggest names and best fighters in a division. It couldn’t have been scripted better to guarantee a huge payday. A war with a bit of controversy about the result. Both fighters reputations enhanced. Casual fans arguing about a women’s fight in the same way they argue about a big men’s title fight.

will the rematch be in Ireland? It would make winning quite a bit tougher for Serrano, but as against that women fighters don’t often get the chance to fight at the top of a stadium card for a huge pile of money.

 

And Hearn wants the fight in Ireland - That another L for Serrano. No one goes to Ireland beats their fighter. And yes I agree took her foot off the peddle in 7. I was surpised allowed KT to recover and also adopt a new Strategy

Great fight, was close but the re-match will generate millions for both ladies and well deserved millions, too.

No shame in losing in an all time Female Classic.

If anything, both fighters own popularity by mere association will have risen immeasurably.

As you can see, most people had it to Taylor. How can it be a robbery when it could have went either way. Serrano couldn't maintain her workrate in the final rounds, nothing to do with her doing this intentionally.

I know you wanted Serrano to win but it was a close fight which most people scored for Taylor. It's not that big of a deal.

 

Maybe next time it will be PPV.
