I'm sure he's a decent enough guy in the real world but he's super passive aggressive. We all take shots on here and whilst I'm sarcastic I also joke around an awful lot and a lot of stuff I say is tongue in cheek. I enjoy the banter and I try not to take it too seriously. I strive to make a serious point wrapped in a joke with a little barb attached but I'm not trying to really antagonize anyone or ruin the forum experience for them

 

As Serge said, stop acting innocent, like you never do anything to provoke intentionally. No one is harassing you, I'm merely disagreeing with your flippant ultra provocative passive aggressive dismissive bitchy ass glib responses to almost everything, which you consistently leave with the expressed intention to bait someone. Not sure if you have the self awareness to realize this, but your overall tone, rubs most people the wrong way, and that's coming from me, of all people. But at least I have self awareness enough to realize I can come across as a harsh and will readily admit to my flaws. Fine, maybe I am a little too aggressive towards you, because I see through your act and like to call you out on it. But I've also made attempts to be cordial towards you and move past it, like our recent bust up in the Lounge. Like you said, we've BS'd and moved past it. But every time I think we're in a slightly better place, you in all likelihood... intentionally derail it, with super aggressive posts like you made last night. That was all on you last night. I said nothing to you.

As far as violating the word filter, the asterisks are the word filter, be my guest to curse me out all you want, but just leave the asterisks be, and you're good.

No, I would've lifted the ban immediately following the RBR, because I'm fair minded and you know that, and I don't deem criticism of me as remotely permaban worthy. I tend to do that on occasion, when I think something could get extra heated and go in an ultra harsh direction, to avoid further conflict. So no, you were never in any danger of being taken out. So calm down.

As far as the second part of your little tirade. Most would vanquish you in the blink of an eye, and I'm well within my right to do so. But I won't. Because I try not to be (long term) petty or act impulsively, I think things out thoroughly before coming to any decision instead of reacting in a rash manner. Which is precisely why I am a good moderator, a lenient moderator, and the antithesis of power mad, which undercuts this false picture you're attempting to paint of me.

I will do this, which I've been doing for quite some time since our last tiff. I will continue to avoid commenting on your posts, even your more provocative ones, like I've been doing in the lounge and avoid making personal attacks. Now do me a solid, keep my name out of your mouth and return the favor.

 

It's an overreaction, because like I said, you have a hang up, but I get it, you're at that age, I'd have probably reacted the same way. But, you're misreading this entirely. To ban someone temporarily from a RBR, isn't insecure or abusing one's power. It's diffusing a potentially volatile interaction. Now chill out, and stop freaking out over nothing.
