Since Canelo wont have his golden boy judges perhaps the cards wont be as atrocious as usual. Bivol by split decision, but a robbery is highly likely
Canelo knocks him out before round 8. Bivol is not that good, he doesn't know how to defend his body. I expect the knock out by a liver shot.
Canelo doesn't need judges to beat Bivol. Bivol is one dimensional and he is not that good. A lot of ridiculous hype is going on for Bivol. Plant used a smart low guard, shielding his body by keeping both his arms low, and utilizing Mayweather shoulder roll, because he knew Canelo's best weapon in his arsenal is body shots. Unfortunately it didn't help Plant to survive, because Canelo was too good for him. Bivol is terrible at defending his body and he will definitely not use the low guard that Plant used, hence he will meet his demise by getting hurt in the body. I'm sure right now at this very moment Canelo is working on even more perfecting his body shots to knock out Bivol.
Lol don't you ever compare Caleb Plant to Dimitry Bivol and i am a fan of Plant. We will see buddy boy. You say Bivol is one dimensional ? Well he'll show a dimension Canelo has never seen. Bivol will prove you all wrong
If Bivol wins, I will donate all my money to a local kindergarten and jump off the roof of building. He can't beat Canelo. NEVER
Look, a few days ago this forum was full of people who claimed and insisted that Serrano is much better than Taylor, that she is too much for Taylor and that she would absolutely knock out Taylor. Me and a few other reasonable people said it was not true, and that Taylor will beat Serrano and we were right in the end. Now we see a similar thing for Bivol vs Canelo. There is a ridiculous hype for Bivol. Who has he beaten so far? 500 years old Pascal? Domestic level champions Smith Jr and Richards? A guy named Salamov who nobody knows? As a matter of fact, Bivol was terrible against Richards, 2 more rounds and he would be knocked out. The only things Bivol does are straight combinations to the head (max 2 hit combos) , in and outs and range management. He doesn't know how to attack body, he doesn't know how to defend his own body, he doesn't throw uppercuts, he doesn't have inside game. That's why I call him one dimensional. I'm sure I will be proved right Saturday night. Canelo knocks out Bivol easier than he knocked out Plant.
Bivol will start very strong, fighting his in and out style with his hands very low. Canelo will eventually start connecting solid shots causing Bivol to fight with an high guard the 2nd half of the fight. Canelo will get the decision.
I'm going to say Canelo by somewhat disputed SD or MD. If Bivol turns up and realises the kind of opportunity presented to him, I can see him giving Canelo some serious problems and I believe Bivol is his stiffest test since moving up from 154. If Canelo wins convincingly I will be mightily impressed and will then give him a solid shot at unifying 175. That would be a truly stellar achievement, particularly if it's against Beterbiev at which point surely he ranks alongside the Mayweathers and Pacquiaos as this generations greatest boxer.
