How do you rate his chin? Think Canelo has any shot of roughing him up?

Reason I ask is because he was almost flattened with a 1 hitter quitter by Joe Smith. Granted, Canelo isnt as big nor does he punch like Smith Jr.

But Canelo is far more skilled than Joe is. Could Bivol be potentially fragile?

Defo say there's a possibility of a stoppage...canelo isn't as big a puncher as Joe Smith but he will have better methods of delivery....

That shot off Smith was a peach so I'd say there's **** all wrong with bivols chin

Think he is soft to the body but has a very good chin.
Canelo could beat him up to the body and make him quit eventually.

If Canelo couldn't stop Callum Smiths corpse than I think Bivol should be OK.

Bivol is the hardest fight since GGG imo.

I have GGG vs Canelo 1-1,

I just wonder if Bivol hits hard enough to deter Bivol, Kovalev did and he could have won that if he didnt have a lapse in concentration.
From memory I had Kova up at the time, but mostly because Canelo gave him too much respect and threw away lots of rounds.

Name a LHW Smith hasn't either hurt, badly hurt, dropped, stopped, or KO'd?

I don't recall seeing him not hurt anyone since he moved up to the world level and I've seen a fair few of his fights from before then too. There might be one or two but out of his last 16 opponents

    Alvarez was KO'd
Fonfara was dropped x 2 and stopped in a round
Hart was dropped and hurt more than once IIRC and that was despite him running and holding all night
    Barrera was dropped
B-Hop was knocked out of the ring and stopped
Vlasov was hurt a few times and nearly stopped
Steve Geffrard was dropped and stopped
Melvin Russell, Pena, Savage, Taylor, Hendrix, Cummings were all stopped

Will Rosinsky is the only one I'm not sure of and he's a tough guy and Smith may well have hurt him

Kovalev obviously hits harder than Bivol but he threw pitty pats and half power shots all night against Clen. Nothing to suggest Bivol has a worse chin than that version of Kovalev and he's not as fast, mobile or fit as Bivol who has a very good engine and Bivol isn't as easy to hit either. He doesn't really get caught flush because he has excellent footwork, fast feet, and a tight guard and he moves in and out of distance really well.

Could Clenelo hurt and stop him? Yeah I suspect he probably could but Bivol is the best opponent he's fought since GGG and one of his best opponents period.

If he didn't have a solid chin he would be knocked out cold from that overhand

He was. The man was out on his feet. He took the shot even worse than Fonfara did. If Smith landed that with any time left in the round then Bivol is finished. He had nothing left.

If Canelo does happen to stop Bivol it will be from a body shot. Bivol can take a really good shot upstairs, but we dont really know how well he can take a liver shot. That said, i think it goes the distance.
