    Besides the obvious pick for most Sal Sanchez, In boxing we’ve lost quite a few of our athletes very young often with unfinished business. Live fast die young seems to be entwined with boxing as much as hip-hop. I just thought we could just bring a few of these names to light.

    Nonpareil Jack Dempsey at 32. Very tragic end.

    His wife died a few tears later leaving their children orphans.

    I never knew Flowers died young. Liston probably belongs alongside Machen and Folley.

    Yep, he died about a year after his nemesis Greb, equally bizarre died in hospital following complications after surgery to remove scar tissue above both eyes, shame. stay safe buddy.

    I recall him talking about missing the plane and being so lucky to be alive. Something like that must really shake you up and make you think there but for the grace of God go I!
