Who were some boxers that were seldom cut or could never seem to get cut?

Muhammad Ali until his bout with World Light Heavyweight Champion Bob Foster on Nov 21 1972, Ali stopped Foster in round 8. Carlos Monzon vs Tom Bogs in Copenhagen, Denmark, August 19 1972, Carlos was cut above the eyebrow but decked Bogs 5 times before the stoppage in round 5.

 

I'm not much help other than an observation that white fighters seem to bleed early and easily compared to everyone else.

 

Davey Day was never cut. Accepted in The Library of Congress, Chicago Folklore by Nelson Algren interviewed Mr. Day after he fought Armstrong. Actually Davey was beating Armstrong up to the 10th rd. and didn't have fight three months prior, and was beating Armstrong half blind half the fight. This bit is mentioned in several NY newspapers, from NY sportswriters who were not connected with Mike Jacobs promoter of all fights in MSG. Armstrong, Ambers, Canzoneri, Jenkins, and most others, were under contract to him. Henry came out in the 11th rd. and pumped 5 punches below the belt of Mr. Day. By the way it wasn't Armstrong's fist that closed Davey's right eye, it was Hanks elbows that closed his eye. The referee only penalized Henry two rounds and overlooked 10 others. Check it out in the NY papers of the sportswriters mentioning Davey was winning up to the 10th rd. For the first 15 years of his career, Chavez never seemed to get cut or busted up. That changed quite a bit as he got old.

I feel like a lot of this just comes down to luck. Obviously, everyone is capable of being cut in certain situations.

Jack Dempsey never seemed to get cut until very late in his career with Tunney.... Guess that beef brine worked pretty well

 

The only times I remember Floyd Mayweather cut was Jesus Chavez (non-title bout early in his career, not El Matador) and the first Marcos Maidana fight.
