The question should be Does Usyk Want Canelo? I do not think that Usyk is very interested in Alvarez, there are much bigger matches against legitimate heavyweights out there.
I don’t care how many losses he should have, that’s why Pac was a better fighter than Floyd. I’m talking about quality as a fighter, willingness to chase opponents and greatness. I don’t care about numbers. Canelo is the best in the sport even if you give him those four losses. What happened in his boxing career is irrelevant to his boxing career? The punches from Beterbiev that dropped him were imaginary?
Usyk simply doesn’t cut weight at heavyweight, he’s exactly the same as when he was at cruiserweight. People will always cry about Canelo no matter what he does.
Exactly what I'm thinking. Bivol is a very tough fight and it's not at all guaranteed that Canelo wins. In my book beating Bivol is huge. Canelo needs to keep his eye on the ball.
I'd be interested in seeing the two of them share a ring since Usyk is one of my favorite fighters of all time and I like Canelo pretty well too. I don't think it should be anything more than an exhibition where they fight at about half capacity though. Think like those sparring sessions Ali and Marciano filmed for that movie. Just a "for fun thing," if you will. I could be wrong but I just feel like making it a professional fight is just a bad idea.
