Fury isn’t even the best heavyweight the UK has produced. Said this before.

Even if he beats Aj & Usyk he probably would still only be in the argument but probably still a way off.

    Lennox is just better.

Based on what exactly? Fury would be a stylist nightmare for Lewis.

Usyk is a stylistcal problem for Lewis, Fury not so much. Lewis would just aggressivly walk Fury down behind a jab and with the high guard in spots and get his shots on in the pocket just like he did to Akinwande. Akinwande started clinching for dear life when he knew he couldn't fight Lewis on the inside or keep him off. Even Dillian Whyte the slow wild plodder could get Fury on the ropes from time to time. After watching that Whyte fight im even more confident that Lewis would win

You can watch the early rounds before Akinwande started hugging to get a general idea of how it would go

He’s barely fought at world championship fights in his career, only 2 world title defences. No way is he the greatest heavyweight ever yet. If he clears out the heavyweight devision he might put himself up there but no way yet. Louis had 25 defences that alone disproves fury being the greatest

Fury is so REAL. Probably still drives round in an old Passat or something.

Are you trying to compare Akinwande to Fury? And how is Lewis going to walk down Fury when Fury has the height and reach advantage while being able to box off the back foot?

Also, Fury has taken flush shots from Wilder and gotten up to win. Lewis got sparked twice by people who shouldn't have laid a glove on him.

Don't get me wrong Lewis is a great fighter, but he never faced a fighter like Fury. He'd be lucky to win imo.

Yes i am comparing Akinwande to Fury because a prime Lewis under steward would've approached Fury the same way he approached Akinwande. I never said Akinwande was nearly as good as Fury just as Whyte clearly is leagues below Lewis but Styles make fights, Lewis would be highly aggressive. Lewis would not box with Fury, Fury having a height and reach advantage and boxing at range is the very reason Lewis would pressure him and drag him into a dog fight.

Fury doesn't have some hammer jab that would keep Lewis honest, he just feints and pot shots when he's on the backfoot. He would try and outbox Lewis and get crowded on the ropes. Fury could win but against a peak Lewis I don't see it really, particularly because Lennox was always aggressive against the taller opponents.
Is Fury going to brawl with Lewis ? Im certain he comes off second best imo. Besides, Wilder hits harder than Lewis but Cunningham dropped Fury too. Nobody in history knocks Fury out in one punch but if Lewis knocks him down he would finish him off like he did Ruddock, a fighter who also had good recovery similar to Fury
Thats fine. I just never saw Fury winning stylistically and after the Whyte fight i definitely don't see it imo

Honestly i see Usyk giving Lewis a harder fight than Fury would.

That might even be 50/50. He's a much smaller target than Fury, he's technically levels above Fury, he's a better counter puncher, he has faster hands, he has superior movement and superior ring assessment, he sets up shots much more frequently, he's a pure southpaw, and he has a much higher workrate. Thats a nightmare fight for Lewis and Lennox would have to pull out all the stops, run Usyk over and work the body to win him like he did Mavrovic early on

No he would not. Wilder was landing straight rights without even setting them up. Floored Fury numerous times without even using as much as a jab. Lennox has the best jab at heavyweight of all time bar none. Elite right hand too. Fury would probably get slept, he wouldn’t roll with the right hand he wouldn’t see it coming.

Wait, there is someone seriously claiming Fury is "the greatest heavyweight of all time"?

This place has some strange folks that stumble through here sometimes....

On his best night Fury could beat any heavyweight in history & for a lot of them he'd do it with ease. He's just too much man to handle. Oh my god he's so sexy.
