Every time Hearn tells us of potential big name opponents, they don't materialise. In the end you get a semi retired, well past there best fighter. For example, look at all the bluster last time. In the end the opponent was Van Heerden. Nearer the time of an opponent being announced, Hearn gives you a list of potential opponents, and drops in one fighter well beneath the level of the rest (that's who they end up fighting).
Huge step up for Benn. I’m not getting my hopes up though with the opponents he’s had recently. If it does happen I’d make Ramirez a strong favourite
No way will this fight happen. Typical Hearn/promoter crap- call out a decent fighter then come up with excuses why fight didn't happen and fight a tomato can instead
I had a feeling Hearn was gonna get a light welter to move up, when thinking of his possible next opponent, I was thinking Viktor Postol.
Ramirez will be the bigger man and will stomp Benn who is a small but bulky welter. Cant see this fight happening either. Great fight for Ramirez. Easy money really
This is most likely deliberate fake news so they can pretend they tried to match him against someone who wasn’t 30+ Shot to smithereens Not a puncher Inactive AF His next opponent will then just coincidentally tick those boxes yet again!
Now Brook has seemingly retired, it wouldn't surprise me to see them try target Khan, if not for his next fight then one after. Probably call Brook out again now he's retired.
Lol will he **** Despite Ramirez being a winnable fight for Benn.... It's far more likely Benn fights Robert Guerrero and after a demolition claims he's better than Floyd Mayweather..... Before he calls out Arturo gatti #gangsta!
PR Stunt. It's just to keep Conor Benn's name warm and relevant. In the coming weeks, Eddie Hearn will probably mention 6 - 8 other boxers who all are very close to get a fight against Conor Benn.
