People shouldn't get their hopes up, Canelo will expose Bivol unfortunately in a one sided affair. Canelo in an easy unanimous decision win.

"Easy"? I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out how Bivol went from a guy Canelo would never face, much less beat to an easy victory for Canelo in less than 6 months.

What do you see that Canelo can expose, exploit? Bivol has very good fundamentals, good movement and controls distance very well. I think if Bivol uses his movement, ties up when Canelo gets close, frustrate Canelo and wait for CA to make mistakes and exploit them he can win. Bivol needs to get Canelo's respect early. Canelo needs to establish a body attack early, cut off the ring to stay in range making Bivol uncomfortable. Jab, jab, jab. At the end of the day, I just want to see a good fight without and controversy.

Bivol is not slick, tends to cover up under pressure. I don't think he has any toe-to-toe skills. I don't expect him to tie up or clinch although that should be part of his game plan. Canelo will try to exploit this and connect with big shots to the body, I suppose, then mixing it to the head. Bivol is very good at what he does the problem I see for him is what he never does, especially how he will react if he gets in trouble.

If Bivol manages to control the distance and jab and even hurt Canelo then it's bingo for him he will win his fight. He needs to hurt Canelo. You won't box Canelo 12 rounds without landing some serious shots. Bivol needs to connect.

Welcome to being the best. Were you around here when Mayweather was doing his thing. Same thing. Goal post moving haters. I still think Bivol gets the best of him. But much respect to Canelo regardless of the outcome.

They couldn've renegotiated because Bivol isn't a big light heavyweight. I don't think they did but i don't know. Renegotiating and adding tweaks to a contract is okay as long as both parties are fine with it.

Tough fight for Canelo. Bivol I think will be his toughest opponent since Golovkin, I'm expecting a close fight. Think it will go to the cards, Canelo probably wins via a close and controversial decision.

Bivol isn't quick enough and doesn't throw enough to worry Canelo too much.

I cant see Dmitry winning without scoring 2 KD's or KO, even GGG, who was much more popular than Bivol was robbed.

I was thinking a lot about the fight, but at the end i told myself i need to make things simple:

Bivol's advantages : Footwork, volume, size/weight (marginal, fight night weight around 181lbs, reach only 4cm)

Canelo's: Handspeed, creativity, experience, defence and most importantly - judges.

Styles make fights, but Bivol has never fought anyone close to Canelo and beating judges, especially in current political situation is another story...

P.S. I missclicked and chose Bivol.
