'All the more reason to take the fights'... that's not pertinent to any point you are trying to make. In context it doesn't mean anything...

It is though. He's bottled facing them. If he's fought all these warriors he shouldn't be afraid to face these chumps for easy money. He obviously doesn't fancy it against them.

'If he's fought all these warriors he shouldn't be afraid to face these chumps for easy money'

Would be reasonable to conclude if he's willingly fought warriors for big pay days - your words - he's not bottling big pay days against a show pony (CEJ) and/or a Matchroom Manakin (Benn). Or chumps as you call them.

Your points lack consistency. They're not even germane to your own reasoning.

No wonder you average 0.14 posts per day...

Well no. He's obviously bottling it because he thinks he'll get beat and it's not worth it. Maybe he knows deep down he hasn't got it anymore but by beating a shot Amir khan handily he wants to blag that he has. So he's making out he's riding off in to the sunset but really he's bottled it.

Also, bragging about post totals on internet forums is not the gotcha you think it is. It's pretty sad to be honest.

I didn't mention my post total, only yours.

Do you think everything in reverse?

Not having loads of posts on an internet forum is not a bad thing buddy. If you weren't a such a dork you would know this.

Brook's cacked it, but fair play to him it's a smart business move from him for once.

Not a bad thing at all, especially as you are devoting a rapidly-increasing percentage of them to me...

Where's the blag? Khan was unfinished business, they were both way past their best and everyone knew it. Benn and Eubank are two jokers who don't deserve to make bigger names for themselves off the shell of Kell. Brook doesn't need the money, so why give them the chance when he can go out on a high after plucking the Khan thorn from his side? Let them face some prime threats.

Grind that petty axe, though, buddy.

Brook had his skull caved in by a beast from a higher weight division. Taking on GGG shows your comment as being asinine. unless your implying that Eubank or Benn are better than GGG?
    I thought not.

Kell's career has me torn in assessing it.

On the one hand he was a marvellously talented boxer with exquisite timing and very decent power. He became a world champion and his away-from-home win vs Porter to secure it, looks a lot better now than back in 2014. It's aged very well.

However, his lack of discipline prior to the Carson Jones wake-up call, hanging around at 147 when his body was demanding he moved up, taking the GGG fight in his prime which then cut it short and jumping straight back in to fight Spence without testing out the injury in a stay-busy bout - laudable as this might be - all add up to a career which didn't quite stack up to what it could have been.

But at his best he was sublime...

Good. I wasnt looking foward to him cashing out against Conor Benn. He had a good career, and gave GGG a tougher than expected fight, and in some ways showed how you attack him with success. Happy Retirement mr chocolate brownie man!

Retiring on his own terms after a win against Khan, as a ex world champion and with only losses on record coming in world title fights, that sounds mighty good and wise way to leave the squared circle.

As others have said thanks for the memories Mr Brook.
