Remember when the WBA had Fres William Oquendo rated for a ridiculously long time, for some reason?

What's up with "Fast Fres's" WBA situation today?

He had a few ones that should have gone his way as well tbf. Was schooling Tua prior to being stopped. I don't think he's ever been totally white washed. So 2010s BS aside he was a solid 00s contender in hindsight with a bit of skill.

    Homeboy still hasn't retired yet.

He's still active on Twitter, with this as his bio:

He’s trolling. The current rankings do not list him.

I think it might have been a real but out-of-date screenshot. AJ wasn't champ two months ago.

I just tweeted at Fres point blank asking once & for all if he's retired or still planning to gum up the works of the WBA title picture. :sisi1

Mans is 50. (with a birthday coming up soon; would likely be 51 by fight night even if something were announced today)

It literally feels like an ETERNITY ago when he had his breakthough victory against Etienne.

The day he made his pro debut, the #1 song on Billboard was "Hypnotize" by a then very freshly deceased Notorious B.I.G.

    YES!

I just knew he'd be back. Even if just in thread form.
