.... Dave Moretti - who had Clenboy 7-3 up against Plant and 6-4 against Kovalev while he scored the first GGG fight for the Kazakh (wasn't on Team Clenelos pay roll back then i guess) Tim Cheatham - who had Clenelo 77-75 up against BJS Steve Weisfeld - who had Clenelo 8-2 up against Plant, 11-1 against Smith, 7-5 against Jacobs, 7-5 against GGG II Very telling that they always bring the same 2-3 judges to score Clenelo.... We all know how that'll end.
By corrupt decision, does that mean anything remotely close? Because clearly fans have a habit of claiming robbery or corruption pretty much any time there's even a remotely close fight that gets scored against the guy you're rooting for.
Somewhere in parallel universe Canelo is getting constantly shafted on the scorecards, despite winning his fights. It ain’t much of a consolation, but still.
There's no way Bivol is winning this fight if he's not getting Canelo stopped. Everybody knows this, including Bivol's team. The best they could probably get is a draw (for which Canelo needs to be shootout), or a SD loss if Bivol doesn't totally dominate Canelo.
I actually predicted this lineup as a joke some time ago, going by which possible judges were Canelo's biggest supporters, and then someone told me it was all 3 of them. Of course with Mora as the referee the deck has been stacked bigtime, leaving Bivol's chances of getting a decision close to zero. A draw is possible if he dominates. A KO is very unlikely.
