Would have liked him to have 1 or 2 more

But it's a great way to go out. By destroying your rival the clown Khan who ducked and trolled you for over a decade. Khan ran for years then suddenly tried to cherry pick a shot weight drained Brook with loads of conditions and still got battered. Fantastic way to exit.

No doubt Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr will be fuming with this.

Congrats to him on a good career. He was poorly managed at times but still achieved a fair bit.

He had a very good career and taking the GGG fight was the wring decision imo. His lack of discipline damaged his career, as I think if he was disciplined throughout his career he would have beat then all at WW and LMW.

His balance was outstanding and his backhand was the most accurate I have seen from a British fighter. I will miss him fighting but glad he has retired, the right decision.

Correct decision. Good career but could have been so much better.

Great career. Lost when he stepped up to elite world level but, at his prime, a very good fighter. Right decision to retire on a high.

Hell of a fighter, a real handful for any fighter of any era. Would of loved to see Kell fight Liam Smith. Happy retirement.

It's suicide unless he goes on a wrath of Khan tour of fights to finish his business with Willie lomond, cheated not defeated Irish guy, and John thaxton.

    Great decision overall.

At his best 12-18 months either side of the Porter win I think he would have beaten most of the other champions at 147, mismanagement, boxing politics, and some bad luck stopped that from happening but I don't think he will be too sorry about that now at this point. I always thought he was one of the most naturally gifted British fighters of his generation, in the early-mid part of his career though he just did not put the effort in though and outside of the ring did not live the life.

He's earned tens of millions, became a world champion (on foreign soil in a tough fight), fought P4P greats, and finished his career by battering his big domestic rival, as he always said he would.

He can go out on a massive high now and that's much better than hanging around to fight Conor Benn who Kell would have destroyed in 3 rounds at his peak.
