Big facts. Haters gonna hate. Not a big fan of Canelo, but I'm not an unhinged hater either & can give him credit when it's due.

It's boxing. Anything can happen of course. That said, none of those were live dogs to many other than their respective sycophants. What did happen to them was not much of a surprise to most.

It will never be a surprise when the bigger name/star wins a fight, despite how close it is to everyone prior to the fight. That has always been the case with every big name fighter out there. For example, and I'll be surprised if you don't agree here, if Bivol wins tonight, it will immediately be "Ahh, Alvarez is overrated, we always knew it, he is protected!!!! (even though he just fought a fighter he lost to)". If he loses, however, it will be the obvious yet typical "Ahh, we knew it anyway, pointless fight, Bivol was hopeless from the opening bell!!! (even though it was clear that Alvarez MADE him hopeless)".

If you're going to experience Boxing that way, then nothing will be satisfying to you.

But if you use that mindset then you undermine just about every great fighter. Most recently, for example, Pac and FLoyd who usually entered their fights as the favorite.

Is it difficult typing with Canelo's balls in your hands? Asking for a friend.

    You mean my friend's orientation.

Still didn't answer my question. My friend is waiting anxiously.

Pac fought plenty of legit threats and fights he was the actual underdog. When was the last time Canelo was widely considered the underdog? Versus Floyd? Maybe GGG1, but much less so.

And speaking of Floyd, he took many fewer risks than Pacquiao and I give him stick for it. It's the main reason have no sympathy for attempts to paint him as GOAT or anything approaching it.

I can't recall Pac not being the odds on favorite in any of his fights since DLH, do you remember anyone right off hand(other than FLoyd)?

The casuals expect Canelo to win. They don't know good Bivol is so a loss will be damaging to Canelo's legacy.

He didn't have to take this very risky challenge but only did so for legacy and prestige. Over the last 20 years there's only been a handful of guys that have consistently sought out the best opponents throughout multiple divisions like Canelo has. The hate this guy gets is ridiculous

History will be very kind to Canelo.

Arrguably being the best Mexican fighter ever holds a lot of weight.

Yep, you can say that any fighter you want is a bum or a can, which would make Canelo a can crusher,. Your telling on yourself great truth twister.

Is Alvarez exploding into this fight as a 100/1 favorite like Golovkin did 90% of his career?

You are too simple minded to handle any sensible discussion. There's really no point here discussing with a moronic imbecile that considers garbage fights like Golovkin vs Lemieux, Ouma, Rubio, Stevenson serious business.
