Any update on why salesua vs Kelleher fight wasn't shown? I had to do a few things I come back & there showing replays of fights happened a month ago.
Might have had something to do with the doctor attending to someone who was seriously ill. There was evidently a delay that television wasn't prepared to wait for. It looks like the main event took place after the doctor returned by which time the television coverage had ended.
That channel would be used to deliver the show to pubs & clubs. For households, it's on DAZN. Given they've just hiked the monthly subscription fee, so it should be.
I definitely felt that they made a mistake picking Bivol even before the fight but given past verdicts I thought he would have a 3 or 4 round handicap to overcome. So I wasn't confident of him getting a decision and thought him winning by stoppage was very unlikely. He had to beat him like that just to get a 7-5 decision.
The Kovalev fight is what swayed me. I thought Kovalev was beating Canelo before he got KO'd and that was a compromised version of Kovalev not only was he past his best he was also given short preparation time and a short turn around from a tough fight with Yarde so I figured a prime Bivol would not wilt under Canelo's pressure also Bivol is a good boxer with a lot of experience. I also remembered that he shattered some Queensland glass earlier in his career.
