Canelo-Bivol Result

He won 11 rounds, 9 at worst.

He had Canelo hurt a few times and if not For Canelos iron chin he wod have knocked him out 4 times

I was pleasantly surprised this morning too when waking up to see not only did Canelo lose he actually lost by decision. That I didn't expect at all. I expected Bivol to lose a controversial decision not actually get the nod but it seems he made it too emphatic for them to steal it from him or even make it a draw.

 

They tried their hardest to rob Bivol

 

Not only did Bivol win and beat the stuffing out of Canelo, but the judges demonstrated -- once again -- how biased they are in Canelo's favor. It would have been better for Canelo to lose by honest scorecards instead of revealing -- once again -- how partisan the judges are in Canelo's favor.

 

Canelo over compensated in the early rounds and really tried to dominate the pace but Bivol didn't read the script and controlled the rest of the fight aside from the 9th.

To be fair the judges did there very best to rob Bivol but iit's hard when Canelo only wins 1-2 rounds.
I'm glad Bivol got the result as he performed very well keeping excellent discipline for 12 rounds. If they robbed him I would have smashed my TV in again...

 

Man I tried to avoid knowing the result and went to dailymotion straight away. But I did see CST80 with bivol's face on the account so I kinda guessed something was up. imho the score was generous to canelo and should have been 8-4 or 9-3 in Bivol's favour. Canelo got pizzafaced.

 

11 rounds? GTFOH with that. I wasn't score it too closely, but it seemed more like 9 at best, 7 at worst. Judges had it about right. Your crazy one sided scorecards against Canelo are just silly. Most rounds were tight but Bivol clearly deserved victory as he out performed Canelo in the late rounds to get the W.

 

The scores didn't seem generous to Canelo, it was just the DAZN scorer has no clue how to score and was acting like Bivol was dominating. He wasn't. It was like Lederman in GGG 1. Bivol won a handful of rounds clearly, but many rounds were very close where he only nicked with activity but not exactly landing clean. By the way the Punch stats were whack. it was not that onesided. They gave Bivol credit for a lot of ineffective shots that barely landed.

 

So if all 3 judges gave Canelo 1 more round it was a draw??? Judges were waaaaay off with their cards. 8-4 Bivol at worst imo

 

That's how I saw the action. Canelo was having great difficulty in landing anything effective and Bivol was landing stuff through sheer volume.

 

The Judges had it about right?
Take the medication son believing in a flat earth is one thing. believing that fight was 7-5 is complete and utter nonsense.
I scored it diring the fight and gave Canelo 1 round although I can see 2 rounds if I'm being generous.
If you believe that was near even then you don't know anything about boxing.
