Low, average? What does he do. What does he change. What does he avoid doing?
Does he incorporate chicken wings and bbq'd lobster and ditch the vegan thing?

Not good imo. He can't hurt bivol who took punches from smith jr who is the biggest puncher at 175. Rematches favor the better boxer. He needs to move on move down to 168 fight ggg and forget about a rematch.

If he fights like he fought in the first 5 rounds, doesn't gas and tightens up his defense, he can surely win. Look how close he came even with a subpar 2nd half of the fight.

He can WIN, but he can't come out as the better fighter. His only route to victory is through robbery

He never came close, he was completely outclassed. 118-110
Only the gift cards from the definitely bribed judges made it look close on the cards. Even in the win of bivol its still a robbery that the cards were that close. Disgrace

Canelo has no chance to beat bivol ever.
Bivol is the better boxer, the faster guy, bigger, has more power, better stamina and also a very good chin. In which world can canelo beat him??!!

So the judges were "definitely bribed" just to make it look close on the cards? LOL

No, it was very close, Canelo was ahead after 9, he just faded in the last 3 rounds which was the lasting impression that made people think Bivol did better than he really did. Along with the BS punch stats and DAZN's anti-Canelo unofficial idiot scorer creating the perception that it was more one-sided than it was. Canelo was doing fine early, Bivol just stepped it up in the mid-rounds and closed strong in the Championship rounds.

That doesn't mean Canelo shouldn've been up. The judges are incredibly biased and Canelo got schooled.

Maybe according to the three judges from Planet Crazy but here on Earth no one that lives north of the border had the score remotely close much less Canelo ahead.

He don't have a punchers chance, he can't outbox him. By robbery I guess.

Why would average boxing fan want a rematch ? We saw Bivol clearly won. there is no questions.

I would rather see Beterbiev vs Bivol for all the belts and Canelo vs Benavidez.

Don’t think Canelo has high chances.

Bivol is faster, has more stamina (and that’s not fixable for Canelo in this matchup as the gap is quite big) and has better legwork (again not fixable for Canelo as it has always been his weakness). Canelo can’t hurt Bivol and that’s another huge issue for Canelo as in second fight Bivol would be more aggressive.

175 is not Canelo’s division, both top fighters are too much for him.

Canelo deserves respect for taking that challenge and acknowledging loss.
