I don't think Canelo has great chances in the rematch.

This is primarily because of Bivol's size and utilization of his size. He made it very hard for ginger to land his power. Moreover, even if Canelo landed his big shots, I'm not sure they would hurt Bivol that much who has shown to have a great chin in the past.

Canelo's big weakness vs Bivol are his slow feet, iffy gas tank and small size. Canelo also tried too hard to land the uppercut which is the last punch I'd try land on Bivol given how he is often moving away from you. Canelo needs to get his jab back.

I can't see, given how he has knee trouble, how he can correct 1 and 2.

He can try bulk up even more I guess but that's still not going to help him land his power, which was his problem.

Bivol on the other hand can train cardio even harder so that the late rounds are all him. He has few adjustments to make; Canelo has plenty.

I had Bivol up 6-3 after 9 and I thought I might have been generous giving one of those to Canelo. I had it 9-3 in the end. No way was Canelo up after 9 I can't see it personally.

What rounds did you give to Canelo? How many of the rounds that you gave to Bivol over the first 9 do you consider close and possible Canelo rounds? On the flip side, what specific rounds that the judges gave to Canelo (1-4 and 9) do you consider unreasonable? Were any of those rounds (1-4 or 9) clear or dominant Bivol rounds? And who landed the cleaner punches in those rounds? I'll have to take another look and rewatch the fight when I get a chance, but my initial impression was that I thought the judges had it about right when watching it live and that the DAZN scorer and commentators (besides Mora) were quite biased in favor of Bivol.

Bivol could have got Canelo out of there if he let his hands go a bit more, maybe he took it easy on him so that he can get a second payday in a rematch.

I gave Canelo 3, 4 and 9. 1 and 2 were quite close but I felt Bivol clearly won them. Round 4 I felt Bivol might have won but in the back of my mind I was scoring it how I felt biased officials would.

I've just seen the official scores the actual judges gave Canelo all the first 4 and Round 9 they all scored it identically.

I strongly disagree with that and personally I think you could just as easily have it 8-1 Bivol after 9 than 5-4 Canelo.

A Canelo can NEVER beat a BIVOL
Rematch will end up late TKO win for BIVOL

More stamina, more jabbing, more boxing. Only one way to find out. Either way, I think if Canelo can pull it off, it’ll be a very hard earned victory i.e always close, but it would be an awesome achievement.

1 and 2 were "quite close" but Bivol clearly won them? If someone clearly won a round then I typically wouldn't call it quite close. That sounds to me like pretty much toss-up rounds that you found a reason to give to Bivol, but could also be scored for Canelo. If you admit they were quite close then why would you strongly disagree with scoring them for Canelo? That's the difference between 117-111 and 115-113, two "quite close" rounds. That's not corrupt to score 2 "quite close" rounds to Canelo and have it 115-113 now is it.

Bivol's loss will haunt him for the rest of his life
For someone with such a huge EGO, he will take the rematch no matter how Chepo and Eddy insist to fight a zombi Golovkin instead
Good things to do to increase chances of winning are:
    - lose the extra muscle weight he gained for his 'glorious' 175 run
which would improve his handspeed and gas tank
    - go more to the body in rematch
going into the first fight, I thought Clenelo would primarily go to the body (to slow down or even KO him) as Jos Smith Jr scintifically proved Bivol's chin is engineered by Koreans to be able to absorb a Kim Jong-un's biggest nuke
    extra options:
    - Eat mexican meat (global shartage of beef is imminent)
    - the Sleazy Eddie can try to overthrow Bivol's head trainer and to replace him with the trainer who helped Andy Ruiz to get in proper shape for the second fAkeJay fight
    - Ask Putin to nuke Kyrgyzstan which would force Bivol to join the local guerrilla camel cavalry

Canelo won 3 rounds max in my opinion.
Can he win a rematch??? ABSOLUTELY with these judges because he almost was gifted a GGG unjust repeat DRAW last night.

More Money, More BEEF and More corruption can solve this mystery

Obviously Canelo can get a gift decision; he almost got a gift draw last night.

But odds are higher that Bivol will knock him out than Canelo will win legitimately.

This was not a close fight. Canelo had a spurt of offense here and there but nothing that warrants a 2nd fight. Nothing that says a 2nd will be any different result. I hope he does excercise the rematch. It will make Bivol richer and it will mean another L on his record.

With these crooks who judge his fights if he lasts the distance the chances of him getting the decision is high. Just look at the Bivol fight he probably won two rounds the fight wasnt even close but had he won the last round he would have come out with a draw. Its disgraceful.
