Who beat Canelo more convincingly: Mayweather, Golovkin the first time around or Bivol?

Bivol's win against prime Canelo was far more impressive than Mayweather's against a pre-prime Canelo.

Mayweather never hurt Canelo in that fight, and never repeatedly backed him up. Floyd just ran a lot, and pitty-patted enough to win rounds.

And let's not forget, Mayweather demanded a catch-weight, so Alvarez was weight-drained for that fight.

You could see 115-113 for Canelo really ? You see 5 rounds for a fighter, that landed in single digit numbers every round, hitting arms and gloves all night ?

This was a masterclass in defence and clean effective punching from Bivol, the fight was not even remotely close or competitive.

3,4. 9,10 pretty clear to me close opening 2 rounds, I know Canelo has never really been given credit for defense but Bivol did not really land anything substantial the entire fight the very majority of shots by both fighters were blocked or parried Bivol was more active

Bivol clearly won most of the rounds, Alvarez was frustrated laying on ropes at times. To try and lure Bivol into making a mistake, he was so befuddled and confused. Because he couldn't penetrate Bivol's defence. I don't why it's so hard for people to realize, Bivol clearly schooled Alvarez in defence and clean effective punching.

Canelo landed only 10 of 222 jabs 4 percent, and landed only 84 punches in the fight, which is less than double digit numbers on average per round.

Canelo got schooled it's as simple as that.

Bivol was lighting Canelo up like a bonfire at spots. Mayweather pitter-pattered his way to a win over a pre-prime drained Canelo. Golovkin falls more or less in the middle for me. In his first fight he bossed him around the ring but did get caught with some big shots. In their second fight Canelo was pushing forward but Golovkin actually hurt him, something which I have not seen anybody do to Canelo before.

Frankly Bivol has the best win. He won so lopsided that even Canelo's custom judges couldn't save him.

Canelo's cardio seemed pretty awful last night. I wouldn't be shocked if he got in better shape and won a close decision in the rematch.

Mayweather just handed out a boxing lesson.

Canelo's cardio has never been great. I think his cardio suffered also from having to fight such a big guy at such a fast pace.

even in fights Canelo dominates he lays on the ropes but I think that’s why it’s always this weird variance in scoring of Canelo fights anything he does it’s not because of gameplan or skills it’s because he was forced to Canelo uses defense he was forced to he tries to box off the back foot he was forced to to that he pressures opponents it’s cause he couldn’t box em and so on…
Bivol landed 20% of his shots the vast majority of his flurries if he throw 5 punches may have only landed 1/5 but he was consistently throwing more.
Was just watching highlights a few moments ago at one point Bivol throw a combo and Canelo slipped every shot but if you not throwing in return then it’s hard to win rounds.
Personally I can see a range of scores but 10-2/11-1 hell nah

He usually gets stronger as the fight goes on. He was hitting a wall last night by like round 6. Credit to Bivol for winning, but I dont see why his point scoring style would've worn Canelo out. I think the rematch will be a more intense fight regardless of winner.

I had 8-4 and it would've been 7-5 like the judges if I'd given Canelo round one. Fans haven't been scoring Canelo's clean hard punching since the beginning of time. They look for conspiracies to explain the scorecards.

He doesnt get stronger he always fights at the same pace its the other guys that slow down but this time he wasnt fighting the likes of Plant who let him fight at his pace he was fighting a more skilled guy who fought at a pace he couldnt keep up and he got his ass whooped.
