Is there a scenario Canelo still fights GGG and rematches Bivol?

Just wondering if Canelo would or can exercise the rematch, but fight GGG first. If that was to happen I would think Canelo will make GGG come to 175 (makes sense) which GGG really shouldn't have an issue doing. Golovkin has no other good options for a big fight so what else is he going to do?

Id advise him not to take the rematch if i was apart of his team, id probably get fired for it but hey, i just think 175 is too much for him. At 168 hes still the king and a fight with GGG would still be big and is a more winnable fight for him then to fight Bivol for a second time.

Canelo is definitely fighting Bivol again. He’s a prideful guy.

If he rematches It will be another L on his resume while in prime.

The GGG fight makes more sense. GGG is 40 and no where near what he was. He can look like the killer puncher he was and then look to rematch.

175 too much for him. He’s really 160 pounder not even a 168 tbh.

He should still fight GGG at 168 despite this loss.

Yea i agree. Even at 168, theres a couple of guys there that might be able to pull it off based on what i saw last night. Benevidez might be one.

Benavidez is definitely a threat. What a fight would be. I think he beats everyone at 168 though.

I think Canelo underestimated how good bivol really was. I think him taking the DAZN contract over the PBC offer proves that he thought "maybe" this was an easier route. Had he fought Charlo last night, he might have walked away with another dub.

If I’m Canelo make defense if 168 titles as planned next, hope Bivol and Beterbiev fight and bivol wins then rematch bivol for undisputed at 175. I don’t think Canelo belongs at LHW but if he does might as well go for gusto

He should fight GGG and get what probably will be a clear win (maybe even a KO), then riding high demand absurd financial terms with the winner of Bivol/Beterbiev. Plus Canelo could say that he was fighting to be top dog at 175, which he can't say as long as both Bivol and Beterbiev are in the picture.
