Respect Canelo but Bivol is something else.

    First if all I wana give respect to Canelo. I always believed a talent boxer who was willing to come forward and face Canelo head on could beat him. However people are acting like this loss “exposes him” and makes all his other achievements worthless. Canelo is still one of the best of this generation but Bivols performance last night was historic and should go down in boxing history. He was patient he didn’t over commit his counter punching was perfect and he used his size to bully the biggest bully in boxing something Callum Smith should of done but never did. Bivol is one of my new favourite fighters and can’t wait to see him back in action.

    Bivol did great but he still beat a smaller man.

    Canelo was never close to a great fighter. Stop the nonsense already. Canelo doesnt have a single convincing victory over any decent prime fighter.

    Just the truth. Had Canelo beaten a good fighter who started a few weight classes below he would’ve gotten little credit.

    Shorter man, yes. But not bigger. Clenelo was filled out and hulked out and was the faster, bigger puncher. I'm guessing Clenelo was the same weight or heavier than Bivol.

    glad to see people giving bivol respect he deserves been a fan of him since the valera fight the dude is the best 175er no questions asked.

    Yeah, he a special fighter, who happens to be naturally bigger and stronger than Canelo.

    Bivol put in a beautiful performance and Canelo tested and found his limit. He dared. Doesn't always work out. Lots of interesting fights below this weight if he doesn't rematch immediately. Benevidez. Charlo?
