What would happen if they met at cruiser weight? I think it would be a great fight with a lot of close rounds. My prediction would be Usky by UD. (Please don’t talk about the Russia Vs Ukraine side of things. I don’t wana start a political debate just the boxing side of things for me please.)
Bivol and Beterbiev first with Usyk getting the winner. Usyk will win of course, but it will be good for both sides, as heavyweight without Fury is a ghost town, and Usyk would get more historical cred from this than beating Paint-dry Parker or Sugar-Bob Helenius.
Usyk, Bivol is just too small. He doesn't have the frame to tack on useful muscle and if anything could go down to 168. I think plenty of bruisers at CW would take him out before he got to Usyk.
Usyk is too skilled for anyone starting from welterweight. Usyk vs Bud is 50/50 for me. other than that he will outbox every single boxer above that weight. His footwork and stamina is just too good. I wish there would be someone as skilled as him in the CW or LHW from newer generation
