If there is a rematch clause and canelo wants to enforce it, then there will be a rematch, period. You can ask Fury if you guys dont believe me. The rest is drama for people bored and with too much free time.

And I'm the first one here who hates those clauses, and the first one here who doesnt want that remach. This fight left no question marks, no need at all for a rematch.

 

4 months is not enough for Canelo to overcome and correct his mistakes going into the rematch.

He has spent the last 3 years perfecting this new style (stalk and throw power counters with low volume) and with the new bulk it means he cannot throw the same volume anymore without getting gassed.

Rematch won’t happen. I think this is the end of Canelo’s venture into the 175lbs world. Respect for taking the fight, but I reckon it’s a none issue moving forward, as they’ll be no shots to call.
