Would it have made any difference could it in a rematch?
If so what weight 172lbs 170lbs.

Mayweather would have, Pacquiao would have at LMW.

Let me know your thoughts I correctly picked Bivol to win but size was a factor.

    Enough with the catchweight bull****.

Theres 17 (18 for the WBC) divisions theres no need for catchweights specially if world titles are involved.

If Canelo wants a rematch then its at 175 and Bivol shouldnt budge on that like he said its his terms now

I dont think so. Bivol is just a bad stylistic matchup.

If Canelo wants a smaller Bivol, Bivol did suggest during the post fight interview that the rematch could be at 168 for all of Canelo's SMW belts.

Canelo looked like he had trouble carrying the extra weight. He looked really tired early on in the fight. A catch weight would not really help with that. There is no rule saying Caenlo had to be heavy. I suppose, in theory, a catch weight might drain the bigger man a bit. Depends on the fighter though. I think Bivol could come down a few pounds without too much problem.

But I agree with the poster above. No more catch weights! There's too many weight classes already. Just pick one.

I think Bivol would have beat that version of Canelo at 168.

Canelo just came out with the ear muffs.
Tried to walk Bivol down with No upper body movement. Gotta out box the boxer
Especially when he’s truly the bigger man.
