This content is protected Microphones don't lie. You can barely hear Bivol's shots even when he sat down on them. Clenelo's shots, as usual, sounded like shotgun blasts from the brute force.
So youre implying that Bivol is a light hitter? So if hes a light hitter how is he supposed to KO canelo in the rematch? Magic spells, or what?
Maybe blocked shots are louder? Most of Canelo’s punches landed on Bivol’s arms. His defense was excellent and Ginger was happy to just keep punching his arms hoping something good would happen. This thread is funny, people are acting like Bivol overpowered tiny little Canelo. He outboxed a guy who punched his arms all night and plodded around slowly. No plan B for Canelo. I expect more from the PFP guy, face of boxing. His plan was punch Bivol’s arms and get the gift decisions. Can’t blame him, it almost worked.
If you are asking that question then you need to Change your name. You clearly know **** about boxing.
Of course size matters. What we had on saturday was a very good lightheavyweight beating a great fighter who's best weight currently would be at 160 lbs. There is a reason why Floyd Mayweather never pushed the envelope and went out of his comfort zone against younger bigger fighters. Mayweather's victory over DLH is parralel to Canelo's victory over Kovalev, DLH and Kovalev being two fighters well on the way down the slope. You have to respect what Canelo has done throughout his career, especially the last couple of years since his fights with Golovkin. He has'nt been evading anyone and rather looking to test himself against the best fighters above the weight class more suited for himself, Mayweather never did such a thing and thats why he retired undefeated.
Bivol isn't a light hitter. He's probably bang average at 175. Clenelo was just the bigger and more explosive puncher. But Bivol's accuracy and sequencing maximized the effects of the shots. Increase volume and the stoppage will come, imo.
I dont knooooooowwwww.... he might have to do the Amber Heard poo poo voodoo spells if hes going to have any chance at knocking out Canelo imo.
