I think that you would have to grant that Galento's top end win's were a bit better.

Arreola typically lost when he stepped up, while Galento won some and lost some.

Arreola was really unlucky to fight in the Klitschko era. I think he's undervalued because of it.

Yeah, fighting in the Klitschko era defiitely made him losing to Adamek and Stiverne (twice). He'd be amazing in other eras!

 

Given that Galento died decades ago, I would agree that he'd be able to toy with what left from Tony's corpse.

 

It wouldn't take an amazing modern fighter to beat Galento. That is the whole point.

I think you misinterpret my intentions here. I am not making the case for Galento, I am contesting the idea that Arreola is underrated. He isn't, he was never anything special.

Galento lost around 23% of his fights, which isn't that far off Arreola's 16% by the way.
