I think Canelo beats the 40 year old version of GGG. GGG didn’t look bad in his last fight, he’s in great shape and still has power. He’s strong enough to hurt Canelo if Canelo gets careless. GGG is just slower than he was a few years ago and gets hit too much. Best chin in the business and Canelo isn’t knocking him out but I think Canelo should be able to get a decision without much help from his judges if they meet again. The extra weight is also going to slow GGG down if they meet at 168. I hope the fight happens and if Canelo is smart, he might want to do it before the Bivol rematch. I just hope they fight late summer because it would be fun. I respect that Canelo so fighting so frequently these days. More fighters need to do the same.
Golovkin is much slower now. As he should be because he is feckin ancient in boxing terms. A third win is a long shot. Still, I think that with the right strategy he can make #3 competitive against Canelo. He's proven he has the power to hurt him.
Yep. If Canelo-GGG 3 (I.e. prime Canelo vs shot to pieces old GGG) is anything other than a clear and dominant Canelo victory, it looks terrible for him. Considering he already went life and death twice with a past-prime GGG, and in the eyes of most unbiased, lost at least one of those two fights.
Golovkin has a granite chin so no chance but maybe a body shots stoppage golovkin has really struggled with body shot since leaving abel so his either not putting the work in or his on the slide
Oh how one weekend has changed things for the Canelo cucks. First, it was Canelo could beat Usyk Then it was if Bivol fights at a lower weight Canelo will KO him Now it's 'Canelo will stop 40-year-old GGG'. I thought that was a given? What's next? What happened to your P4P hero?
Can you imagine if GGG gave Canelo hell again and get robbed a 3rd time? It's a possibility. It'd be hilarious and sad at the same time.
