    Ward knows what's up. Almost always gives way better predications than almost anybody else. He understands SMW and LHW boxing. Interesting he also picked Beterbiev to smash Gvozdyk to a million pieces when everybody said Beterbiev was a plodding bum loser.

    Andre Ward is one of the most boring sports commentators ever.

    He's an extremely unlikable person - they should replace him with Bernard Hopkins or with Antonio Tarver, who is very articulate.

    Ok, got it. But can we really blame Ward for hating on Canelo hard. That makes me like him as an analyst even more.

    He understands boxing but is selective about when he shares that understanding with the audience and his scorecards are from the moon (to be fair, these days he's at home watching better fights while he scores on ESPN).

    Also, the whole "recusal" thing bugs me to no end. The conflict of interest he's avoiding is baked into every aspect of the sport and there's a confluence of interest with the audience and his employer because he has more knowledge of and connection with the fighters he advises.

    He's been doing the same to GGG for years too and as with Clenelo it's all one way. Comes across as extremely bitter.

    Nah. Big fan of Andre Ward as a fighter, not so much a fan of his commentary. Bradley to me anyways, is better at it.
