Do you think the judging in Canelo vs Bivol was corrupt/biased

Obviously corrupt:
- Gifting early rounds
- Scoring near-identically
- Everyone watching thought Canelo won between 2 and 4 rounds, but he got awarded 5.
- Canelo has a history of controversial decisions going his way.
- All the incentive in the world for organisers to conspire to help CA, to boost his value even further amd make even more cash.

 

Not end of story, there is absolute corruption backing Canelo. If the scores were 117 - 111, or 118 - 110 that would be ok, not 115 -113.

 

Just on this point, what was said to be corrupt in the past was that there was always 1 judge who scored it wide in his favor. This was what people who claimed corruption always clinged to. The one lone "paid off" judge.

The fact that all 3 judges scored it identical is the complete opposite of that. So for you to say it was suspicious because all the judges scored it the same just proves that no matter if the judges agree or not, no matter what happens, you'll always claim the judging was corrupt. If a judge like Adalaide Byrd scores it 118-110, that's corrupt. If all judges score it identical, that's corrupt. So what you're proving is that, no matter what happens, even if Canelo loses, you'll always spin it as corrupt. It's suspicious if all judges score it the same, it's suspicious if one judge scores it different than the other judges. You'll always find any reason to claim corruption.

I've been enjoying this too. I've done some of my best work lately, it's been a ton of fun watching you scramble around since the fight. I'm here rain or shine, win lose or draw. The loss only validated my expectations and it exposed a lot of of narratives surrouding Canelo. It's hardly a setback for me, we both should really be giving Bivol a round of applause for setting us on a better trajectory. Now Canelo's aura of invincibility is no more, and I know how cathartic that is for you and many others who have been waiting for this moment for many years. So soak it up, and enjoy the big win.
