Had Saul Canelo Alvarez fought Artur Beterbiev instead of Dmitry Bivol, who would have won?

Canelo is pretty tough I'll say his corner stops it late.

Would be a different fight as Arthur would stand inside and trade.
Ugly ending for Big Red and as much as I dislike his diva moves, Canelo to be clear is the diva, in the sport this would be horrific to witness

 

Beterbiev TKO

 

Everyone who picks Clenelo over Beterbiev doesn't understand boxing at all.

Yes, Beterbiev has a completly different style than Bivol. So that dominant win for Bivol doesn't tell us anything about a potential Clenelo vs. Beterbiev fight.

But Beterbiev is a tank and hits like a truck. He would have stopped Clenelo. Clenelo isn't a big puncher at 175.

Beterbiev can take a bigger punch than Canelo can throw.

Canelo just isn’t that quick at 175 and would be forced in to a scrap. I think he might get a taste of his own medicine lol. Beterbiev will hit him in the biceps I reckon lol. He will punch everywhere to slow him down.

Might take awhile to land the killer blow but it will happen. Bivol wasn’t really sitting down on his punches and was still buzzing Canelo.

I think Beterbievs style is one that will age ok. He hasn’t been in any dog fights so not too much wear and tear. He has been clipped a couple of times though
