https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/ne...1-spot-despite-decisive-loss-to-dmitry-bivol/ 1. Canelo Alvarez 2. Errol Spence 3. Terence Crawford 4. Naoya Inoue 5. Tyson Fury 6. Vasiliy Lomachenko 7. Shakur Stevenson 8. Oleksandr Usyk 9. Dmitry Bivol 10. Gervonta Davis Solid Rankings. Spence deserves to be ahead of Bud imho, and I like that Stevenson is ahead of Usyk, with Bivol and Tank rounding out the Top 10. "Luckily for Alvarez, his reputation is so sky high that the defeat did not affect his P4P ranking as a unique modern superstar willing to risk a loss in order to maximize how great he can be. Still, the loss was a humbling reminder that up to a certain point, size does matter."
"The best in the world seemed to find his ceiling as far as dramatic rises in weight are concerned when he dropped a unanimous decision to unbeaten WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol. A rematch could be next, although Alvarez retains his "best in the world" status due to his overall body of work across four divisions."
Usyk - Dominates Cruiserweight, unifies heavyweight... 8th place? What they smoking? Should be top 2-3 at least.
Always been the same, for example if a US light heavy did to ginger what Bivol did, straight to no.1 with a rocket. Bivol sneaks into the top ten and Usyk, don't get me started. What a ****ing joke, US bias is sickening.
Exactly, this is not to mention Usyk is beating guys his size and above in their own backyard. CBS has just lost it right to discuss anything in relation to boxing
Considering the rankings of Fury, Lomachenko and Stevenson, It looks like ESPN aren’t the only ones who are on Arum payroll lol.
I don’t even care about p4p but that is an awful list. Davis is entertaining but who has he beat the last couple of years?
Usyk and Loma fight bigger guys for a living. They do it in every fight. Canelo got schooled by a SMALL LH and gets another break. Big surprise, it’s as if he’s entitled to breaks not given to other fighters. If it was a close fight, I would have a different opinion. It was not. Canelo was dominated and his opponent was fresh and unmarked afterwards. PFP champs aren’t supposed to be beaten so easily, so decisively.
CBS Sports .. so a few pen pushers working for a news corporation decide to make a list & we are supposed to care? LOL.. you're reaching now son..
