How can you feel sorry for him when he took 70% cut of the PPV, walked out 2nd when he was just the challenger.... years of hydration clauses, and bullying his opponents in negotiations, getting gift decisions, doping scandals.???

At what part are we supposed to feel bad for him?

I'm not anti-Canelo but I've seen no one say they felt sorry for him.

All i see is canelo lost but that doesnt mean bivol is better then him posts all over social media. Im not sure i understand but it must be like when canelo beat an old cotto or mosely, canelo won but hes not better all time then either.

They're not saying they feel sorry for him.

They are saying that what's wrong with boxing is when a fighter actually dares to be great and comes up short in one of his challenges, some fans use that to diminish them.

    Big difference

Clarissa Shield is just worried that Marshal is going to smash her head in.. I don’t think she thought much about Canelo.
    She sees the parallel.

    It is a cult mentality.
Canelo just a very good fighter & popular and fight often but who met a better fighter. But cult following cannot deal with or understand simple thing like this. they want 'p4p' and 'special' & GOAT discussion. They thought unbeatable. they forget or don't know that Canelo lost and needed gift judges on previous fights too.

Canelo is not a fighter you should feel bad for what about Lara and golovkin they were robbed of there only great win that would have put them on a different level them are the type of fighters to feel sorry for not the diva the got given gifts at every opportunity to get gifts

The worst of it is the "Canelo's daring to be great" lmao

Canelo weight bullied a good portion at 154lb. Cherrypicked 36yo Mayweather, 36 yo GGG twice (all got robbed on every occasion). He then thought it was acceptable to fight Rocky Fielding. This was followed by a close fight with hydration clause Jacobs and the dodgy suspect affair with Kovalev and Yildrim.

His run at 168lbs is all smokes and mirrors as ive explained in the following post (extensive cherrypicking card stacking) :
Then he takes on "big" Bivol who looked "poor" in his last two outings. Eddie Hearn admitted it was a cherrypick. Big miscalculation by Canelo's clown team. Also, Canelo and Bivols fight night weights would have been within 5lbs if one another as Bivol is a blown up SMW. So the he's too big thing doesn't work here. 6ft 3 Callum Smith, Kovalev and 6ft 1 Plant werent big but all of sudden Bivol is...

This daring to be great schtick is a load of utter bollocks.

He has been a diva for at least a decade. Given decision other fighters would not have ever been given, imagine what would a W would do to careers of Golovkin and Lara (which they actually deserve).
But have to take my hat off to what he's accomplished. Unlike many fighters moved up in weight, constantly improving the sweet science and has improved significantly since being an average fighter back in his early 20s. Never baloons up in weight between fights unlike the likes of Spence.
Floyd's venomous presence is still in the air. Canelo definitely took page out of Floyd's book.

Man you just explained my whole point 10x more articulately and precisely than me... hit it on the head. yea thats another thing, everyone is saying "He dared to be great" he did, but ONLY on his terms! Bivol has mentioned several times that his team took massive concessions in the negotiation process just to make this fight... Bivol didn't care about any of that, he just wanted to show the world he can beat him.

Bu but he dared to be great, right? A ginger who has enjoyed major weight advantages over opponents throughout his career agreed to fight a small guy at a weight above his weight, a guy who rehydrates to essentially the same weight Canelo typically fights these days. Oh, the humanity! To add to the insult, the guy won by giving the slow plodding Canelo a thorough boxing lesson. Poor Canelo.

Canelo fans are looking for a participation prize for doing what guys like Usyk and Loma do every fight. Is Canelo the first guy in history to fight a slightly larger opponent? Canelo fans would have you think this.

The mean problem Canelo fans have are they have him already as an all time great and they are shocked and thinking of reasons why he has got to have lost and all that trash it's simple they need to realise Canelo is a good fighter at best not great
