I feel bad for Hrgovic losing his dad, but did he have to wait a month? Really Hrgovic should have to spend some real time in the wilderness.

Zhilei-Hrgovic could be part of the Usyk-Joshua rematch, according to Hearn.

 

Part of me still really wants the fight, and part of me thinks Hrgovic deserves some time in the wilderness for waiting until the last minute to pull out like he did. I understand that his dad died, but that was apparently a month ago. Reminiscent of the Bakole duck.

Duhaupas is well past his expiration date (41 years old, been a pro for 18 years, was stopped in 1 by Yoka a couple fights ago). This should be quick.

 

The WBC has ordered a final eliminator between Noel Gevor and Thabiso Mchunu to become the mandatory for Makabu.

 

Feel bad for both these guys. Mchunu was jobbed against Makabu, and as much as I like Breidis, Gevor beat him.

 

WBC president has said Wilder will probably be allowed to fight for the vacant WBC title if he wants. Not fair, since Wilder is coming off two stoppage losses.

I think he should allow the Parker-Joyce winner to fight for the vacant title, and have Wilder in a final eliminator against Makhmudov.

 

How is Wilder #1 he hasn't won a fight since 2019
