Of course a fighter is going to be more dominant against lesser opposition.

But that doesn’t explain WHY you have Stevenson ahead of Usyk. You just said that Usyks accomplishment as an undisputed CW was great, which is already 3x better than beating the likes of Valdez. How is beating Valdez more impressive than cleaning out a division and becoming one of the top dogs of Hw right now?
Also, you even said yourself that Usyk what tougher competition. Wouldn’t that mean that he SHOULD be ranked higher than Canelo considering he beat the stiffer competition and has not lost a fight?

Spence beat Porter, a guy who lost to every good fighter he faced, Garcia, who was only elite at 140 and just okay at 147, Brook, who was batter by GGG and never the same after, and a guy who jumped two division and came to survive. And he's #2 while Usyk is 8?

He's beat two world champions. He's not on my list but Spence was popping up on almost everyones lists after beating 1 world champion in Kell Brook. Stevenson is going to be pushed hard like Spence.

I didn't say I did, CBS Sports did. I like it because Usyk is being very overhyped based largely on a lackluster win over AJ. Stevenson was far more impressive vs Valdez in his recent performance than Usyk was vs AJ so I like that they are rewarding him for that rather than feeding into the Usyk hype. It's very unusual to have a Heavyweight P4P #1, it hasn't happened since Prime Mike Tyson. The idea of that is totally whack to me, so I like seeing Usyk rated below better fighters in lower weight classes who have taken bigger risks than him and have performed better.
It's more impressive by the way he did it. Usyk AJ was a boring uneventful fight. Stevenson Valdez was a high speed chess war with both fighters having to make adjustments. It was just a more entertaining fight and Stevenson performed at a much higher level that night than Usyk ever has. It's just that simple, and that's not a knock on Usyk.
Canelo has fought far tougher competition throughout his career than Usyk, and specifically in his last fight. You were comparing who Usyk beat at CW and said it was better than who Canelo beat at SMW which I would agree with you there. But in his last fight Canelo fought a much tougher and a more stylistically difficult fighter than Usyk did. We have to take everything into account.

Doesn’t matter if you didn’t say it, you still agreed with the ranking and it’s clear that your P4P ranking isn’t any different. Your reasoning that Usyk shouldn’t be rated that high just because you find him to be overhyped is just a lame reason, not even taking into account of his overall body of work.
And you’re talking about other fighters taking more risks than Usyk?? You can’t be serious. Usyk has fought and BEATEN 8 fighters in their own BACKYARD. How in the world is THAT not taking big risks?? If anything he’s done what very few fighters would ever do.
We must be watching a different fight. The fight between Usyk and AJ was anything BUT boring. It was a highly entertaining, high speed chess match with nice exchanges, although a bit one sided but still a very eventful fight. Usyk looked magnificent overall. Stevenson vs Valdez was NOT a chess war at all, it was a boxing clinic where Valdez pretty much had nothing to offer and Stevenson boxed his head off. There really was no excitement in that fight, it was more of an exhibition. The fact that you think that Stevenson should be rated above Usyk based off of ONE fight is absolutely ridiculous. Usyk has fought much stiffer competition and has looked impressive beating everyone he’s faced without the help of any judges. Clearly you are very biased against Usyk.

That doesn’t make sense. You agreed that Usyk fought better fighters at CW compared to Canelo at SMW, yet you’re reasoning that Canelo should be still rated higher in based on who they fought in their last fight?? Even after Canelo got embarrassed badly you think he should be rated higher just because of the style of the fighter he fought and lost to?

For the record I have no issue if anyone rated Canelo higher than Usyk prior to the Bivol fight. However, now that Canelo just lost in emphatic fashion he HAS to be dropped down from the #1 ranking. There’s nothing wrong with having Usyk ranking higher than Canelo right now.

My biggest gripe was the idea of having Shakur Stevenson ranked higher than Usyk. Theres just no way in hell that’s even possible. :ohno

You already had 0 credibility.. Now you entering into the minus..

I've already addressed this in a previous post. "Canelo explicitly stated he walks around 180lbs and that he'd weigh 178-180lbs fight night at 175lbs (DAZN broadcaster interview, Bivol confirmed he weighed 183lbs fight night). He was weighing fight night at 172-174lbs when he was a freaking 154lber - check the HBO fight night weigh in. At 168lbs Id say he'd weigh high end of 170s, almost or exactly the same weight he'd come fight night against Bivol at 175lbs (which I've confirmed he stated 178-180lbs). Why didn't he gas or look bad against 168lbers (in my book he did look bad, plod forwards loop similar combos /punches over and over, occasionally throw an uppercut)? "

Because they were either paid off or just terrible due to card stacking /cherrypicked details.

Again, Bivol is a blown up super middleweight. Kathy Duva says he is. Look at his HBO fight night weigh ins. Look at how big all LHWs look against him in the ring. It's a known fact he is a very small LHW.

Bivol weighed anywhere between 2-5lbs heavier than Canelo fight night. He was marginally bigger in size (obviously he is taller than Canelo) Canelos fight night weight at 168 is highly likely that it would be the same at 175. All of a sudden 6f3 towering (essentially a big drained down light heavy) Callum Smith (who looks 190lb+ in there) , and a big 6ft 1 Caleb Plant aren't too big but Dmitry Bivol is too big. Absolute BS and vou know it. Bivol is just way too young and skilled for Canelo in a real fight. And even then Bivol looked like he was in first gear whilst Canelo looked like he was fighting for his life lmao
Really? Did you see his last fight against Bivol? Yeah he got some nice uppercut in, but he looked one dimensional. Plod forward take straight punches. Canelo does not know how to take a good jab away. The amount of times he tried the jab, overhand right /right, hitting Bivols arms/shoulder was desperate.

And the fact you are agreeing with Stevenson being above Usyk is just embarassing on all accounts.. You really should be ashamed of yourself

Canelo should not be #1 since he was beaten. Even Pacman could not hold into the #1 spot even though his loss to Bradley was a pure robbery.
Tyson Fury should not be here, he's retired. The list is only for active fighters

    My list:
    1. Oleksandr Usyk
    2. Naoya Inoue
    3. Terence Crawford
    4. Errol Spence
    5. Canelo Alvarez
    6. Vasiliy Lomachenko
    7. Roman Gonzalez
    8. Josh Taylor
    9. Juan Francisco Estrada
    10. Dmitry Bivol
