LOL at stunned Toney. Nobody but nobody stunned Toney. Certainly not Michael Nunn.

James whooped Nunn in front of his home crowd then murdered him with a left hook.

If Nunn was really that good he could have made another run.

James is the biggest cherry pick gone wrong in middleweight history.

    Cope.

Don didn`t have Hearns power but he did hurt Mike early on, however he seemed really open and Mike was countering him with heavy shots, I don`t think Curry could take a solid 154lbs shot flush.

Nunn didn`t have much power, the hardest shot he threw was the uppercut that stopped Kalambay, he never stopped any other fighter with one shot nor could he floor fighters with one shot and no way could he hurt Toney with one shot, Reggie Johnson hit Toney far harder.

Want me to tell you the round he stunned Toney?
Nobody stuns Toney yet Reggie Johnson dropped him?

Nunn could crack alot more then people think.Stopped Curtis Parker with one shot. Destroyed Kronk prospect Knox in 4 rounds. Stopped unbeaten Frank Tate.

Curry was done after his loss to Honeyghan. Had they met at a different stage Curry beats Mike.

Was he shakey when he got up? Did his knees go out? Did he drastically change the way he fought or try to clinch for an extended period? No? Seems like he wasn't stunned. Just dropped.

Nunn was not throwing hard shots at Toney.

He was badly hurt by Johnson in the 1st round and had to cover up on the ropes.

And if you watch the fight, which I know you have, you can see Toney looking to set up that left hand that flattened Nunn from early in the fight. It is the same shot he nailed Robinson with years later and he went about setting it up the exact same way.

I disagree Toney was getting out pointed early on, but was making a comeback in the fight in the last 3 or 4 rounds. The momentum had shifted in Toneys favour.
