Why didnt he just open a usa checking and other accounts? Bivol should move his whole family to the usa anyway since he is going to make more money soon.

I hope at the very worst this is just some pathetic red tape blip and he gets his (hugely deserved) dosh soon.

Surely this shite possibility would have been seen beforehand by somebody??. Promotors, management, financial advisors/accountants, etc???

It's absolute bollocks, I feel for Bivol and the team.

He should move his whole family and the team to the US or Europe and apply for citizenship. He will not be able to accomplish things living in the isolated terrorist state

Not only did undeservingly get underpaid against Canelo (look what Plant, Smith and Billy got paid despite being far inferior fighters), but now he's getting he's pay withheld?! What a joke

#StandWithUkraine is such a totally upstanding and principled global establishment movement, it even jerks a good man out of his rightful earnings. How is it even possible to get more virtuous than that?

Imagine if Canelo paid Bivol out of his $53M. Doing so would convey that money isn't the most important thing to him. I think he'd win a few people over. I think it could also "disarm" Bivol, at least at the negotiating table for a potential rematch.

Maybe if Russia didn't invade a sovereign nation and kill innocent people then this wouldn't be a problem?

I could care less about what Russian athletes deal with over innocent Ukrainians. Sorry your country you grew up is a globalist communist piece of crap.

OK. Let's withhold all the US boxer's purses as the US has assisted Saudi Arabi in killing 220,000 Yeminis and continues to do so and also directly killed 250,000 Iraqi citizens in their misguided boy scout adventure. If we do that, I'm cool.

No one cares about brown people getting killed. Ask Palestine, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Yemen.
