Firstly, Josh Taylor has zero right to hold any of the belts. Secondly, Alberto Puello, who has zero right to be anywhere near a mandatory challenge position, somehow is made the mandatory challenger and then Josh Taylor being stripped of the title because he has not faced him.... this is almost as bad as the jack Catterall decision. I cannot believe I am saying this but.... if anything just let Taylor hold on to it. Or at least give it to Jack Catterall if anything. It would be a disgrace if Catteral doesn't replace Taylor. Could happen cos Jack was WBO mandatory when he fought Taylor
How much would moving up benefit him? He doesn't appear good enough to hang with the division's best.
We can't retroactively change decision, so that aside, this has no bearing on Taylor's status as THE Champion at 140.
