It really wouldn't. Bakole would batter him silly. Chisora would never fight him (would for PPV loot, but fight isn't that).

Bakole has some glaring weaknesses (and I'm a fan), but he was massively shot down after the Hunter loss, in which he put in a good performance and was close to having Hunter out of there if he had just landed clean once or twice.

Another I feel in a similar boat is Dubois. Got a lot of stick on here after the Joyce fight, even though it was very competitive until the stoppage.

Bakole is a plodder but he puts together punches nicely. Seems to have a bit of spite in him. I had him losing to Kuzmin.

Yoka is (or was, at least) ridiculously overrated. If they couldn't see it before, people surely can't see him as a world title challenging prospect after that. There is a reason he has that horrible, stiff, gloves over his face guard. He is awful to watch.

Just watched the fight there on you tube missed it last night.
Bakole looked good, used his jab well and some good body punches and uppercuts.
If Billy can get him to keep his right hand up more he will be a problem for anybody.
Scorecards were a joke , happening all the time now and nothing seems to be getting done about it.

The thing is in this fight he didn't need to, Yoka's punches weren't hurting him in the slightest, he was just walking straight through them. I'm sure when he fights someone who can punch they will fix that.

Just watched the fight without knowing the result. They score cards were ruthless. Scary how corrupt can be at times. Guys livelihoods at stake.

Yoka pretty much up **** creek now.

Would like see bakole maybe drop 15 to 20 pounds bit more mobile

That's the end of Yoka, he'll spend three years fighting five or six nobody's or complete has beens and try and worm his way into contention for a belt but it won't happen. I can't believe he got prospect of the year not so long ago with the WBC

Bakole is slightly better than average for me, a plodder for sure, he looks too heavy and as slow as Joyce. He does look like he could be brought on though, there might be something there, he just doesn't show it anywhere near enough.

He didn't gas as badly this fight but there was a noticeable slow down. I think he could of got Yoka out of there if anything he needs to be a little more spiteful. No mercy.

If you remember correctly, yoka nearly avoided this fight and got a final eliminator. It was only because the contracts had been signed that yoka had to go through with it.

It ended up being hrgovic v the Chinese heavyweight for an eliminator. Hrgovic pulled out. If yoka had got out of this he would have been in an eliminator v the Chinese heavyweight.

I fully expected yoka to win last night but I'm happy bakole never got robbed out of the fight and the decision. He should be trying to get back in with hunter next and see if he can get revenge.

Dave Allen said Yoka hit harder than anyone he had shared a ring with. Did not look like a monster puncher last night (shows the difference when a fighter is clean.

I think the people who rate Yoka highly have genuinely not seen him box for more than a couple of minutes. It's baffling how overrated he is.

It's a shame really only the UK/Ireland and then lesser degree Spain and Italy in have any sort of boxing scene to speak of in western Europe. Imagine if France and Germany were as lively as ours is.
