I love to see any athlete give the media what they got coming. That said, why In this thread do I see comments saying he took 2 fights to beat guys decisively, like that's a bad thing?? This era of boxing fans are completely ruined mentally. If a guy can't beat a fighter decisively that means he faced a tough challenge, and if he lost? A better man on that night. If he comes back and avenges that loss? Let alone emphatically? That's what real champions do. You guys need to start respecting the game more.

Taylor lost to Catteral far more convincingly than Charlo has ever lost.

I actually think Charlo should be undefeated. Had him winning Harrison 1. Actually had him losing 2 until the stoppage. Thought he beat Castano in 1 too

Charlo should have 3 losses. He should be grateful. He lost to Martirosyan, Harrison and Castano the first time. Uncle Al has both Charlo's backs.

So because a fighter does a rematch, that doesn't make him P4P?

Floyd did TWO rematches; Ward did ONE...does that mean they were never P4P? What about the rematches Manny had?

    Utter nonsense.

Charlo predicted exactly how that fight would go and he was spot on.

Ye that's totally what I said LOL... no it's not just because he had a rematch that he isn't pound for pound it's because I can EASILY name 10 fighters that are much better than him it's not difficult .. but let me break it down further for u cupcake if you're struggling... Castano had fought twice since 2019 and has NOTHING on his resume other than a draw with an old Lara who was coming off a loss and who had only fought once in 16 months himself.. & even then Charlo needed two fights to get the job done convincingly ..

Just like the Harrison fights.. Harrison , I mean seriously .. Harrison.. this guy recently couldn't even get past a bummy former WW who has already lost to an ancient Collazo! And let's be honest 154 is full of weight grifters like Charlo who are ****ing huge for the weight but probably know they can't cut it at the bigger weights so drain down to convince the gullible fans they are P4P material by beating up on smaller opposition mostly..

He's good , but he's not a p4p operator, Vanes arguably beat him too.. so yes in light of all that I stand by what I said.. & are u seriously comparing him to Ward & Floyd? LMAO

I'm not saying Jermell is P4P one way or the other, butterscotch.

You brought up rematches as it relates to him as excluding him from P4P.

    Rematches are apart of boxing.

Much respect to Jermell, great fighter willing to take risk! All these so called ducked fighters....Big Charlo, Andrade, Benavidez, and Tank need to take notes. In my opinion they are not daring to be great like Jermell.

Are you sure Shadow that you can fit another knob in your mouth?
Is this your new love interest after your dreams getting shattered by Reverend Bivol after performing his exorcism of Ginger?
With that being said Jermell has done well in becoming undisputed in a division where like Welter they appear to be weight bully's and huge at the weight. As far as P4P he should scrape into the top 10 despite struggling in a few fights. To suggest he's No1 is asisnine and just factually wrong. Usyk is number 1 for me cleared Cruiser and clowned a top 2 at Heavy and has done it all on the road. It's funny that the nuthuggers seem to ignore Usyk and his like in fact it's very telling.
