Winky is kinda like royalty when it comes to 154. But man his resume is thin. Razor thin. Obviously thicker than Charlos, but very thin for an ATG. But his skillset is very very obvious. From 01 to 06 I don't think there's anyone in boxing who would have beaten him at 160 or below, aside from the legend himself B-Hop.
Wright takes it. He was a beast IMO, great technically and at his best a real handful and very difficult to beat.
I actually think it would be a great fight.. Charlo would have a good combination of size and explosiveness that Winky wasn’t used to facing.. Winky best win was Shane Mosley who’s only win at JMW was against Oscar De La Hoya so its not like he fought a prime Shane Mosley. The difference here is Winky had an opportunity to fight those great WWs of his era where as the WWs in Jermell’s era simply won’t and hasn’t move up to give him that big name on his resume. I got Winky winning a decision but he might have to get off the canvas to do that. There’s no quit in Jermell and he as strong in the 12th as he is in the 1st.
Winky: better jab, better/tighter defense, better with straight shots, busier, better foot work. You are not gonna run Winky over with power, and you're not gonna outbox him, best shot at beating him is outworking him, and Charlo can't do that. Winky lands so many clean, knock your head back jabs and straight lefts, the judges have no choice but to score em Winky is probably one of the steadiest fighters ever concerning you knowing what the gameplan is but still not being able to stop it.
