Wilders olympic medal was 1 win versus a ****ing algerian, a draw against a morrocan ( going through on countback) and getting absolutely battered by Clemento Russo (italy) in the semi finals

I think you have to hand it to Benn because the improvements he’s made have been huge and for all to see.

It’s obvious he’s been grafting his bollocks off in the gym with Sims.

I think he picks up a world title

Ricky burns broke his jaw in sparring. He gets stopped by anyone who catches him off balance after he has thrown a haymaker and missed

He has improved but not THAT much. He's still often wild with his shots, and for all that fancy head movement , let's see him pull it off at close range against a game opponent.

I've also heard lots of stories from Conor Benn's sparring where he has not looked very good. Hope he succeeds, but I doubt it.

He could beat Crawford and spence Jr at the same time with one hand tied behind his back and some people on here would say it’s because of his famous dad or that they were both shot to bits.

I think he’d get in with any of the top lads but Eddie Hearn is being cautious with him.

His next fight has to be a step up now. Eddie knows it. And once that can of worms has been opened there’s no going back.

Im looking forward to seeing how it goes and I hope he surprises a few people. I think he’s great to watch.

He's garbage and the most unlikeable person I've ever seen in boxing.

I don't get the chip on the shoulder badman act. With the post fight "what more do I have to dooo" scripts.

He grew up rich and is being coddled by matchroom fc due to their roster getting paper thin.

He's tough to like. I warm to Eubanks Jnr more lol.

When he did that interview where he was crying saying he's had to make sacrifices. He grew up rich with a famous dad and has had everything handed to him. Absolute muppet.

He will get a world title shot thats the ironic thing, which has been vacated somewhere vs some bum in the top 50. He is a scrub who is a hype machine.

His most recent opponents over the last 18 months all have one key thing in common- they can't punch.

    That's not a co-incidence.

Also improvement is very relative. Yes, it can't be denied he has improved, but the bar was so low when we are talking about his early performances when he got put down twice by a French pastry chef and part time boxer. He was terrible against a part time journeyman, and he now looks good, against poor, old and badly faded opponents brought in to get beaten.

It's very had to gauge how much he has actually improved.

When a young fighter with promise and some profile is being so deliberately and so blatantly shielded from the British title route it's no co-incidence and should tell us something. We will know how good he is when he fights a top Brit like Mckinson, or a fringe world level fighter like Avanesyan.

Without watching it he also freely admits that he’s been born into money and that he travels to the gym in a fancy car with heated seats.

The easier thing to do would be to have a half a dozen fights with journeymen, earn a couple of million then sack it off and live happily ever after. He’s worked his nads off to improve, lives the lifestyle (again, admittedly easier to do when you’re born into money) and it’s not him who’s turning down Avaneysyan or any other opponent. Peoples ire should be directed towards Hearn.

And these Mckinson fight shouts are ridiculous. I’ll admit to having seen very little of him (I doubt many have) but looking at his boxrec profile he’s fought a list of nobodies with a possible exception of Kongo who himself has fought a list of total no hopers.

People saying Benn would struggle with either of those two are off their head!!
