I think Inoue would be expected to KO a featherweight ranked outside of the top 10. It's not like Barrios is an elite or even a top 10 at 140. He's a fringe contender. There wouldn't be too many guys you'd expect to go the distance with Inoue at 126, much less outside of the top 10. That said for single punch it's difficult to say, Inoue regularly drops opponents in one punch with both hands, but his knockouts don't have quite the same brutality as Tank's. I would say I'm undecided.
I'll pick Tank slightly. I think Tank is the heavier handed puncher while Inoue is the more precise puncher. Tank seems to be a harder puncher but Inoue's punches is more technical. Inoue's punches is like a sniper, very fast accurate and deadly. However, I do think it's surprising how Isaac Cruz looked like he barely got a scratch from Tank. Not sure if it has more to do with Cruz's defense or if Tank isn't the monster puncher that we all think he is, although to be fair he did break his hand in that fight.
Barrios had a belt he's not great but he's no bum either. He was undefeated and alot of people here picked him to beat tank. Tank knocking him out was impressive, Thurman at 147 couldn't do it.
I'll get on it in the week But it's clearly Inoue. Better fighter, better resume, better puncher, and much bigger plums
Twink At 135 and 140 his second and third divisions Twink ducked back down to his second weight class after beating Barrios, Inoue has fought seven times in his third one TKO12 Gamboa - former WBO champ, 38 y/o, shot to bits, chinny, stopped in all his losses, and was a world champion way back in 2013 TKO11 Mario Barrios -WBA regular champ, would've had 5-6lbs on him WUD12 Isaac Cruz - never been a champ Inoue's first three fights in his third division TKO1 Jamie McDonnell - WBA champ, had 13lbs on Inoue KO1 Juan Carlos Payano - former WBA champ KO2 Emmanuel Rodriguez - IBF champ All of whom were prime, two of whom current world champions, one a former, and had never previously been stopped, and two of have never been stopped since At 118 the third weight class Inoue has won world titles in TKO1 KO1 KO2 WUD12 KO7 KO3 TKO8 The fighter who took him the distance out of those Nonito who was 36 y/o but still had a lot left, was a reigning champ who won his previous 2 fights via stoppage, one a KO of the year contender, and KO'd the unbeaten WBC champ in four rounds in his next fight after losing to Inoue and knocked out another unbeaten fighter who was the WBC interim champ in his next following that one Inoue has beaten nine world champions all of whom I believe were full champions I'll take a closer inspection at the champions Inoue has fought a later date Twink has beaten seven world champions, five of whom I think were full champs but a few of them were prime and champions at the weight he fought them, the rest were either shot to bits or champions at 126, 122 and/or below Gamboa 38 shot to bits, champion way back in 2013 Ruiz champ at 122 Cristobal Cruz shot to bits, champion at 126 way back in 2008-2010, was 1-7-2 in his last 10 Cuellar was champ down at 126, and was paired up with Twink to contest the vacant WBA 130 title despite the fact he was a 126 pounder and was coming off a loss down at 126 LSC was the champ down at 118, 122, 126 and 130 but he'd only fought above 126 once and won that vacant world title at 130 against another 126 pounder who was 2-2 in their last 4 fights. Twink looks ill on the scales at 135 let alone 130 and has missed weight or missed it the first or second time of asking a bunch of times. LSC is a 126 pounder and the natural size and weight advantage was always going to be the deciding factor. A huge punching 135 pounder vs a 126 pounder Barrios was the WBA regular champ at 140 and his only claim to fame was winning a hometown gift from his three hometown judges against a seven fight novice Pedraza was a champ at 130 and in his prime and a future champ at 135 See what I mean about smoke and mirrors More smoke an mirrors tonight with Rolly who can't really fight and who is so wide open and easy to hit a blind man would have a 100% accuracy against him This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
They like to ignore things like this. Like Tank didn't start campaigning as a FW and isn't smaller than damn near everyone he's been in the ring against. They both are hard hitters, I personally think Inoue is the harder hitter, but not by much. People really act like Tank isn't a legit bomber.
