George Kambosos, Jr. vs. Devin Miles Haney

I am American, but ive clearly stated that i think Kambosos beats Haney. Like i said, its a pick em fight but though i think Kambosos is a more explosive puncher, Haney has a good chin and i think Haneys chin is good enough to withstand kambosos best shots through 12 rounds.

Nah. At least, speaking for myself. I'm not going to knee-jerk make a "Kambosos versus..." thread every time a top rated and hyped lightweight happens to fight. This one is because DAZN literally put them next to each other for a post match confrontation intended to drum up early promotion for having them meet.

Furthermore, they contain between them all the pieces of "infinity stone" or whatever (I'm not a Marvel nerd, don't really know how all that works ) - basically right now Tank, Kingry, Loma, etc are collectively irrelevant as there are precisely two men who can become undisputed within a single match at 135, and those are George and Devin.

Haney is such a big weight cutter that Kam should make him wait until mid 2022.

 

Tentatively Haney by decision. Could end up being a type of fight where Kambosos gets the decision in Australia, Haney gets it in USA.

 

I like both guys; very respectfull to each other, no trash talk (yet). That's nice to see.

I was going to start a thread like this today....it's a very important fight.

I think it will be easy work for Kambosos. Haney has all the tools, plus he has a smart family man in the corner
not a nut job like Lopez sr or Angel Garcia. However, he gets touched a lot and his chin is the weakest part of his
abilities.

Kambosos has faster hands than Haney, will bring a good strategy to the fight (unlike Diaz who's strategy was
"keep my hands up so I can't throw punches, don't job, don't move my head", and has a good chin. Remember
that the punch from Lopez that put him down was to his ear not his chin.

Kambosos on points. But let's hope it's not another Aussie "Horn vs Pac" type situation.

Haney has the stylistical advantage, but he's fighting in Kambosos home turf and he isn't good enough to make it a completely one sided fight so a robbery is likely.
