'The Future Of Boxing' is such a cringe title that IFL TV and channels like that use for prospects, and 9 times out of 10 they never go on to do anything
You’re right chrisfinch, it is something that I do a lot. I do it a lot less now in the pros, like you suggest, only when the fight has been a bit special, however I work a lot of amateur shows, always have done, I do it there for most of the bouts and will continue to do so. There are no journeymen in the amateurs & nobody’s getting a purse so the least they deserve is a round of applause.
Or when Adam Smith says someone is "such a nice guy outside of the ring / a quiet family man" when they're well known to be anything but that
Continually asking "do you understand?" at the end of sentences. Eddie Hearn, Joe Gallagher and Dom Ingle to name a few all do it, I find that quite irritating.
Fair play Craig. It was probably harsh to use you as a specific example because plenty do it, I just think it devalues the ‘moment’ a bit when it happens too often.
Especially when it's something quite simple that of course we understand or when they're giving an opinion and talking like it's fact and not up for debate.
