When the other middleweight beltholders, over 30 days, are facing Danny Dignum, Gary O'Sullivan and Maciej Sulecki.

They're facing those guys ... AND YOU'RE BASHING THE WORLD MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION GOLOVKIN ... and the World Super Middleweight Champion CANELO ... who are fighting for the third time against each other next?

You are mired in such a "fantasy world" of fixed fights and Canelo bashing and insisting guys who got brutally KOed and had their cheekbones crushed were actually taking dives ... you can't recognize an historical boxing run when it's happening before your very eyes.

When people have to write these things, are they trying to convince themselves or others? Other fighters in boxing are taking on challenging fights too. Cuadras, Rungvisai, Estrada, Gonzalez are fighting each other. Rodriguez has thrown himself into that mix. So why do people constantly need to talk about Canelos resume like he’s the only one fighting top tier challenges? It’s weird. Inoue is a 3 division champion. Maybe he’s not daring to be great though.

 

Are you really propping 110 lbs fighters going up to 112 lbs talking about they are 3 division champions? Get back to me when Inuoe jumps 35 lbs in weight like Canelo did who went from 140 to 175 lbs. If those guys are so good, why aren't they challenging Shakur Stevenson for his belt or Tank Davis?

 

A division is a division. Why does he have to jump 35 pounds? Manny already did that and people still discredit it.

 

Manny is an ATG too who was willing to be great. What does he have to do with this thread?


Please point me to a fighter above 130 lbs today who has consistently fought good fighters and moved up weight classes multiple times to face champions? There is not one fighter above 130 lbs who has the resume of consistently fighting good fighters that Canelo has. Not one. Spence, Crawford, Charlo, Andrade, Benavidez, etc. They all have a resume full of bums.

 

Canelo needs to fix the leaky gas tank and tighten up his defense.

 

So now that’s it’s been shown Canelo isn’t doing anything different in boxing, you have to change the parameters. Laughable and says a lot about how this thread is really to convince yourself that Canelo is good. He is. He doesn’t need you to prove it. But he’s not doing anything that nobody else is doing. By the way, Usyk is above 130 and he’s a multiple division champion who has fought the best.

 

What do you mean anything different? No one in boxing is doing what Canelo is doing. Name me 3 fighters who have fought the level of competition that Canelo has fought over the past 5 years and gone up in weight class to fight beltholders? You can't name me 1 fighter who qualifies for that.

Yep. 2 more things added to the list that Canelo needs to improve on before getting back in with Bivol. He can start by watching Rocky 3. Love how Rock transformed his entire style to beat mean ol Clubber Lange.
