Do you think Canelo vs GGG 3 will still be a competitive fight?

do you think that gg is not well hydrated at 160? really? the one with better hydratation at 168 will be canelo, not gg.

But anyway, that's my opinion. Canelo should be able to KO gg at 168 in september, if he doesnt do it I'll be disapointed. You dont agree? ok, we dont have to agree.

Of course we don't have to agree, that is what a message board is for. I don't think GGG was dehydrated at 160 but as you get older, weight cutting takes more of a toll. It has nothing to do with WHO will be better hydrated but more of a case where maybe Golovkin won't have to use a sauna suit for example. The weight may adversely affect GGG's cardio though so who knows. I think it will be a better fight than many are predicting and I certainly don't see Canelo going in there and blasting GGG in 6 or 7 rounds. It's a 50/50 fight to me.

After the two lost recent fights it's at its peak competitiveness since the 2nd fight imo.

The whole story since then has been about the two being on opposite trajectories.

But now, Canelo has just lost and Golovkin has just reunified the division.

Also we have 4 belts up for grabs. Both men are the best in their divisions.

The fight is as meaningful as its ever been.

    I'm stoked.

Canelo wins this fight first fight was clear GGG I felt the second was a draw but Canelo won at least 5 rounds.
I think Canelo will win this fight GGG is moving up which wont favour him.

I don't think so no. Bits and pieces here and there sure, but GGG is too old now.

It could happen, and that feeling that an upset could be brewing is what makes boxing great. This is a very interesting fight at this stage in both men's careers. The result is unpredictable, anything can happen come September. GGG has a tremendous opportunity to become Undisputed at 168. And Canelo has an opportunity to put the rivalry to bed once and for all. What more can you ask for as a boxing fan?

What makes this so intriguing is that both fighters are at a crossroads. Canelo is coming off a loss for the first time in 9 years. GGG has just turned 40 and the sand in his hourglass is running out. It's truly put up or shut up time for both fighers. All the bad blood from their previous 2 encounters ends here. I doubt there is any rematch clause. If GGG wins, he'll probably run off with Canelo's titles and ride off into the sunset. If Canelo wins, the chances of a 4th fight are slim to none. Unless it produces another classic, and both come out of it wanting more, never say never, but this has all the makings to be their Final Fight. This will be EPIC.

As much as I would like to see Golovkin win I don't think he can. He has looked so slow his last few fights and, even though he beat Murata, when Murata hit him you could see Golovkin wobble just a bit. Also, don't be fooled by how Alvarez looked against Bivol. Canelo solidly nailed the Kyrgyzstani on numerous occasions and they had no effect. Those same punches will hurt and eventually stop a slower, older, less dangerous than he used to be GGG.

I don't say this very much at all but I really hope I am wrong.

The know it alls are already using the 350 amatuer fights/40 year old has no chance excuse. GGG has a good shot at winning this fight and should not be underestimated because hes 40 years old and fighting Canelo Alvarez.

It should be a good fight to watch. Canelo should earn his first win over the older, non prime GGG with a UD. It's downright silly to suggest Canelo ko's GGG who has a granite chin.

I don't think it's the chin people are talking about.

I am starting to think that maybe GGG is to Canelo what Marquez was to Pac and just knows what to do to beat him.
